Belated props to Vancouver based marketing firm Capulet Communications, whose dose of fun – a Flash game called Stars and Stinkers – increased traffic to DeSmogBlog by more than 300%. (I just found the game online – it was created last year.) Stars and Stinkers allows DeSmogBlog’s visitors to rate celebrities and politicians based on their environmental friendliness. DeSmogBlog is dedicated to “clearing the PR pollution that clouds the science of climate change.”
With the weather here in New York recently hitting the 60s, global warming’s been on my mind. Here’s to Capulet for helping DeSmogBlog raise awareness by mixing no-nonsense goals with solid entertainment.
